Capto Seamex Set
SEAMED FABRIC INSTALLATIONS MADE EASY
Feltest’s proven Capto technology has been reconfigured for securely closing seamed fabrics in all paper machine sections. The Capto Seamex has a long jaw length to grip each fabric end at a 45-degree angle, easily keeping the seam ends in place before seaming.
The set comes with 4 pieces of the Capto Seamex, a spool of dedicated rope for easy attachment to the machine frame, and two bags to carry all your tools to both the tender and drive side of the machine.
Secure the seam ends
Like the standard Capto, the Capto Seamex is designed to help papermakers produce more paper with more peace of mind. There will be no more delays because seam ends slipped and dropped into the machine. The body is rounded to prevent scratching dewatering elements, suction box tops, or rolls, and the grip pads securely hold your fabrics without damaging the surface.
Easy to attach, easy to remove
Easy to attach with a single touch, the gripping mechanism holds even the smoothest dryer fabrics in place; withstanding water, dust, and corrosion. It stays attached until your seaming work is complete, and comes off just as easily with a single touch.
Even with the rope attached, the handgrip remains available for full control.

Avoid the risk of your fabric seam ends dropping into the machine before the seam is closed. Whether using Velcro or zipper seam assists, the Capto Seamex clamps give extra protection during seaming work, allowing installation to be completed with confidence.
FAQ's

-
Yes. The clamps add extra protection during seaming work. Whether you use Velcro or zipper seam assists, the Capto Seamex avoids fabric ends slipping back into the machine before you closed the Velcro or zipper.

Each Capto Seamex Set comes with 4 Capto Seamex units (two for the tender side, two for the drive side), a spool of strong rope you only need to cut to size, and two carrying bags in which you can store two Capto Seamex units with the rope still attached. Ready for use!

No. The Capto Seamex is developed specifically for this application. The grip pads securely hold the fabric without damaging the surface, and the rounded body prevents scratching of dewatering elements, suction box tops or rolls.
